Steve Gurysh currently lives in Pittsburgh, PA where he attends the MFA Program at Carnegie Mellon University. His practice explores the intersections between art, ecology, and technology through sculpture, field research, and alchemical investigation.

His work has been exhibited at places such as La Société des arts technologiques in Montréal, Canada, The Sculpture Center in Cleveland, OH, Cabinet Magazine's Exhibition Space in Brooklyn, NY, Future Tenant in Pittsburgh, PA, and the Center for the Study of the End of Things in Charlottesville, VA.
